Why you should keep coming back to my recipe blog

I LOVE to bake and like to cook. My mother was ALWAYS baking yummy sweets or cooking us yummy dinners growing up and stirring the cookie dough and folding in egg whites to cake batter are some of my fondest memories-right up there with eating these treats. Now that I'm a stay at home mom I like to cook old favorites and try new recipes as well to keep my hubby who brings home the bacon happy. I bake to keep MY tummy happy and baking is like therapy for me. People seem to like my baking and cooking so I thought I'd share some of my favorites here. I must admit I enjoy the compliments too:) Please leave a comment if you have a special request or tried one of my recipes.

Also note that my pics are not fancy..just snapshots to give you an idea of what the final product should look like. Please don't let their quality keep you from trying a recipe. I promise I would not post it if I didn't think it was worth making. I'm all about the food, not as concerned about the picture presentation. If I had a fancy camera....this might be a different story, but for now just think about how tasty the recipe sounds.
